Vintage 70s Monet faux pearl necklace. Gold toned closure signed 'Monet' on both sides. Pearls have a beautiful crème color and not too white. Piece in good vintage condition, some pearls show some flaking, see picture. Total length is 78cm.

Monet was one of the first to make costume jewelry. They created pieces with a high-end finish and a classic look without an unrealistic price tag. In the 90s they also received license to collaborate with Dior, Yves Saint Laurent and Christian Lacroix.
